Forest View Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeks a Director of Outpatient Services to oversee partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. You will coordinate referrals, manage caseloads, and develop outpatient staff while steering program marketing and growth.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field and 5 years in a psychiatric facility, with Michigan licenses (LPC/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT) and CPR/HWC/CPI training.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited university in social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.
• Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Current LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT license issued by the State of Michigan.
• CPR and HWC/CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the oversight of Outpatient Programs and Services.
• Develop hospital policy and procedure for areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies.
• Participate in senior management and budget planning, including Administrator On-Call duties.
• Hire, evaluate, and develop staff; manage performance and growth.
• Support program marketing and business development for outpatient services.
• Oversee departmental budget, FTEs and staffing levels.
• Maintain quality assurance and improvement initiatives; ensure safety responsibilities.
