Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Seven years of progressive experience leading or supporting supply chain operations within OR, procedural, surgical, or perioperative service environments.
• Five years of direct management experience leading complex operational teams in healthcare, perioperative, procedural, logistics, or supply chain settings.
• Demonstrated collaboration with clinical leaders, surgeons, value analysis, distributors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily supply chain operations across 67 procedural areas at Duke University Hospital, ensuring supply availability and inventory accuracy.
• Evaluate and optimize inventory models, par levels, and replenishment strategies to reduce waste and backorders.
• Design and implement governance, KPIs, and escalation processes to track reliability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Champion technology-enabled transformation including RFID workflows, Kanban, and MMIS tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Partner with distributors, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and supply continuity.
• Mentor and manage multi-shift supply chain teams and develop scalable coverage models.

Education
