Job summary

Breakthru Beverage California, LLC seeks a Director of Operations to lead warehousing and distribution at Santa Fe Springs. You will set strategy, drive performance, oversee receiving, storage, conveying, loading, delivery, facility and fleet management, and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in warehousing or distribution with 5+ in management, strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and a track record of cost control and process

Qualifications

  • :Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Warehousing or Distribution, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions, and recommending objectives.
  • Direct process and continuous improvement efforts in the areas of quality, customer service, safety, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions, controlling costs, and maximizing the use of assets.
  • Provide oversight for all operations related activities, including receiving, conveying/sortation, loading, delivery, facility, fleet maintenance, sanitation, inventory control and returns management.
  • Direct facility and system maintenance activities – inspection, repair, capital improvements, new layout designs, etc.
  • Oversees the company security program by developing and maintaining appropriate programs in conjunction with operation staff.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

The Director, Operations is responsible for leading all warehousing and distribution operations at the Santa Fe Springs location. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to the department, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment. The Director oversees planning, coordination, execution, and performance management of logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and alignment with organizational objectives. Through effective leadership, resource management, and continuous improvement initiatives, this position drives operational excellence and achieves business goals related to the company's logistics and distribution requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of Distribution routing software, preferably Roadnet
  • Experience managing a union environment
  • Experience with conveyor/sortation equipment
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone

Salary and Benefits
