Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Anaheim, CA is seeking an inspirational leader to head the Disneyland Resort Operating Participants & Real Estate DLR team. Based in Anaheim, you will develop strategy for lease renewals, negotiate terms, and manage complex contracts across retail, F&B, hotels, and entertainment.

You will also lead new business development, oversee compliance with negotiated contracts, and nurture relationships with Disney operations and external partners to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive leadership experience in relevant businesses.
• 5+ years contracting, negotiating and business development experience.
• Strong track record in fact-based negotiations or equivalent contract experience.
• Proven ability to establish relationships, trust and credibility internally and externally.
• Ability to analyze deal terms to create a financial model and communicate implications.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate cast members.
• Strong communication, facilitation and conflict management skills.
• Unquestioned ethics, transparency and integrity.

Responsibilities

• LEASE MANAGEMENT: develop negotiation strategy for renewal of retail, restaurant, and hotel leases; consider side agreements and tenant asset utilization; coordinate with Legal, Finance and other teams.
• NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: negotiate large contracts, evaluate tenant mix, develop deal terms and go-forward approach.
• ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: ensure compliance with contracts; act as owner’s representative on new projects; align with Operations, Legal, Finance and other teams.
• GUEST/CLIENT SATISFACTION: nurture relationships across DLR and TWDC partners; guide operating leadership and stakeholders.
• CAST EXCELLENCE/DEPARTMENT: develop and maintain departmental guidelines and policies; build alliances across the organization.
