Job summary

GSK, located in the US with a hybrid work model, is seeking a Director to lead the Oncology CPMS team within Oncology Translational Medicine. The role focuses on model-informed drug development to guide dosing, trial design, and regulatory strategy for small molecules, biologics, and ADCs.

The position requires advanced training with a PhD/MD in pharmaceutical sciences or related field and 5+ years in clinical pharmacology/modeled development. Hybrid work 2–3 days in office.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field required.
• 5+ years leveraging clinical pharmacology and modeling in drug development.
• Experience applying PK/PD and pharmacometric models.
• Experience using tools for quantitative clinical pharmacology (NONMEM/Monolix/R).
• Familiarity with FDA/ICH guidelines in trial design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of efficient clinical development programs and robust registration packages.
• Predict human dose range and characterize exposure–response relationships.
• Design and interpret clinical pharmacology studies to evaluate PK/PD factors.
• Develop mathematical models to understand disease progression and drug effects.
