Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Director of Oncology External Innovation to advance external partnerships and pipeline opportunities across oncology. You will lead cross-functional diligence, shape scientific strategies, and collaborate with Janssen Oncology and worldwide teams to accelerate drug discovery and development.

The role requires senior leadership, a strong network in biotech/academia, and proven ability to drive external collaborations and licensing deals.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD or MBA with PhD would be a plus; extensive pharma/biotech experience valued.
• Minimum 15 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience required.
• Experience in Oncology drug discovery, scientific innovation, licensing and deal aspects.

Responsabilités

• Lead multi-function diligence teams evaluating novel opportunities (MTA/lab-based).
• Deliver a research plan based on input from internal/external stakeholders and manage deal processes.
• Identify and partner external opportunities with academia, biotech and venture partners.
• Develop partnering strategies aligned with Oncology TA and INTO objectives.
