Overview

The Director of Wealth Management Consulting, based in Philadelphia, will lead a team of professionals supporting the growth of our Advisory, proprietary, HNW, and Alternatives platforms. This role serves as the central contact across all Janney regions for sales and consulting of Wealth Management offerings, with daily interactions with Advisors and home office staff.

Key Skills

• Advisory/Managed Accounts/Alternatives knowledge: Experience with Advisory fee-based programs and Alternative Investments.
• Initiative: Proactively improving Advisor and Client experiences.
• Client Service: Prioritizing Advisors' and teams' needs.
• Relationship Management: Coordinating internally and externally for sales efforts.
• Project/Planning Management: Developing plans to identify opportunities and track growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the WM consulting team, setting goals and metrics, with limited regional travel.
• Coordinate with WM SMEs across various products and services.
• Enhance sales messaging and align with advisory program development.
• Drive KPIs for Advisory, Alternative Investments, and JCM Adoption, with bi-weekly reporting.
• Support training and growth initiatives for Alternative Investments.
• Proactively assist Advisors and support technology enhancements.
• Develop communication strategies, including newsletters and launch calls.
• Identify new opportunities for advisory and asset movement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in Advisory/Managed Accounts.
• Understanding of operational and regulatory aspects of complex investment products including Alternatives.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel 20-25% and based in Philadelphia.
