Position Summary

The Director of Wealth Management & Client Service provides leadership, accountability, and strategic direction for our advisory and service teams. This role ensures clients experience exceptional planning, flawless onboarding, and consistent service at every stage of their relationship with Guardian Resources. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Director of Wealth Management & Client Service is accountable for department hiring and training, advisor performance, client retention, and the development of scalable service models that align with the firm’s growth goals.

This position requires presence, collaboration, and the ability to develop both advisors and service professionals into high-performing teams. The role also demands consistent alignment with Guardian Resources’ values: Passion, Authenticity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Service.

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Relationship Management
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality client experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement tiered client service models that align with business goals.
  • Oversee client onboarding, ensuring seamless handoffs from sales to service.
  • Monitor client satisfaction through surveys, retention metrics, and feedback.
Wealth Management Oversight
  • Lead, coach, and develop financial advisors and service team members.
  • Oversee advisor training and development, ensuring excellence in planning and client care.
  • Support ongoing advisor education in financial planning, estate planning, and product knowledge.
  • Drive cross‑selling opportunities across tax, legal, insurance, and financial solutions.
Operational & Strategic Leadership
  • Partner with DOO and leadership team to align service processes with firm‑wide goals.
  • Ensure processes, workflows, and tools support efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop KPIs for advisors and service staff that cascade from firm‑level goals.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence in client care.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure qualified leads transition smoothly into discovery and analysis.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure client onboarding and billing processes are accurate and timely.
  • Partner with Legal) to integrate estate planning into the client experience.
Executive Leadership Expectations
  • Take ownership of client service and wealth management outcomes.
  • Translate company vision into client‑facing strategies and advisor development priorities.
  • Lead leaders‑build managers and high performers beneath this role.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to eliminate silos and ensure seamless client journeys.
