Job summary

Brevard County is seeking a senior engineering leader to direct, coordinate, and supervise its water and wastewater operations, engineering, construction, and finance activities across designated service areas.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering, six years of relevant experience (including three in management), and prefers Florida PE certification. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential evening/weekend hours for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• Six years of progressively responsible professional experience in utility engineering; three years in water/wastewater management.
• Florida PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and supervise all water and wastewater operations, engineering, construction, and finance activities within the county service areas.
• Supervise professional, technical, and clerical staff and coordinate cross-functional teams.
