Job summary

Key responsibilities include overseeing diagnostic activities, guiding field veterinarians, and ensuring the delivery of accurate health status reports. Candidates must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and significant experience in veterinary diagnostics.

The position is essential for operation continuity, requiring potential emergency duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Min four years of postdoctoral experience in Veterinary Medicine.
• Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory specialty area.
• Current Board-Certified Veterinary Pathologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Salisbury Animal Health Laboratory necropsy area.
• Provide diagnostic services to livestock and poultry.
• Coordinate with University of Maryland Vet School.
