X-energy is seeking a Director of Value Engineering and Product Management in Gaithersburg, MD, to lead cost estimation and value trade‑offs across engineering, procurement, and construction. You will sit with engineering teams to deliver rapid, usable cost estimates that influence design choices, CAPEX vs OPEX decisions, and schedule impacts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in cost estimating, project controls, or value engineering for megaprojects ($500M+).
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, EVM, and financial reporting knowledge; proficient in SAP/Oracle or ERP systems.

• Lead development and implementation of cost control systems, plans, and procedures across project portfolios.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and forecasts; prepare cost reports, dashboards, and forecasts for leadership.
• Translate technical decisions into cost and schedule impacts; ensure cost/value implications are understood at decision points.
