Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Director of RCM Shared Services (Urology) to lead strategic and operational revenue cycle initiatives across practice-based teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. You will drive performance using analytics, implement best-practice workflows, and oversee in-house RCM teams to maximize financial outcomes while maintaining excellent patient and provider experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare and RCM leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing third-party RCM vendors.
• Contract management and vendor oversight experience preferred.
• Coding certification preferred.
• Strong background in managed care payer market.
• Urology experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• MS Office skills: Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coding, charge capture, and reimbursement for urology services.
• Manage relationships with third-party RCM vendors and US team.
• Oversee RCM for cystoscopy, biopsies, imaging, ultrasound, lithotripsy, vasectomy, catheterization.
• Handle pre-authorization and medical necessity workflows for surgeries.
• Monitor payer reimbursement trends and regulatory changes.
• Ensure correct CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM usage in urology.
• Oversee denial prevention and appeals for specialty procedures.
• Optimize ancillary revenue streams (pathology, labs, imaging, pharmacy).
• Collaborate with management to improve charge capture and documentation.
• Analyze utilization, RVU, denials, and net collections; report metrics.
• Support PM systems, EMRs, coding edits, and automation tools.
• SME on urology reimbursement regulations and payer policies.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payer rules.
• Lead RCM readiness for acquisitions and new services.
• Monitor vendor KPIs, SLAs, and performance.
• Collaborate with RCM team for revenue cycle improvements.
• Be primary contact for division RCM communications.
