Job summary

Altura Credit Union in Riverside, CA, seeks a Director, Treasury to lead investment portfolio strategy, cash management, and related reporting, reporting to the SVP, CFO.

This role owns investment purchases/sales, broker-dealer and custodian relationships, and oversees liquidity, risk management, and staff development.

Expected to guide ALCO processes and ensure compliance with NCUA guidelines while driving efficiency and capital adequacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a closely related field.
• 8+ years in investment, treasury, or financial-institution settings with portfolio responsibility.
• Experience at a financial institution with $1B+ in assets is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of the investment portfolio strategy within policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Owns investment purchases/sales administration and reporting, including broker-dealer relationships.
• Manages cash management, overnight investing/borrowing, and liquidity positioning.
• Oversees vendor/custodian relationships and contract oversight.
• Develops staff and fosters succession planning within the function.
• Directly supervises staff and coordinates with ALCO and senior management.
