Job summary

Veritas Partners in Maryland seeks an experienced financial analyst to lead Asset Liability Management reporting and modeling. You will manage the investment portfolio, provide projections, and support budgeting and forecasting across multiple centers.

The role requires knowledge of fixed income markets, ALM concepts, and compliance with BSA guidelines and audit preparation. Five to eight years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with ALM reporting and modeling in banking or credit union settings.
• Knowledge of fixed income markets and asset-liability management concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or industry certifications equivalent to a degree.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Asset Liability Management (ALM) reporting and modeling.
• Manages the investment portfolio, makes purchase recommendations, projections and analysis.
• Responsible for the preparation of multi-center monthly / quarterly / annual budgets.
• Assists with general ledger reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts, preparation of journal entries, month end close and production of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Assists with preparation of audit materials and provides assistance to auditors and examiners.
• Prepares a variety of specialized financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
• Assists with the following department functions on an as needed basis; employee timecards, escalated issues, etc.
• Helps prepare quarterly reports.
• Serves as back up for other department functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of the banking / credit union industry. Knowledge of fixed income markets. Knowledge of Asset Liability Management. Five to Eight years of similar or related experience.
