Senior Manager/Director - Treasury & Debt Compliance
We are partnering with a highly sophisticated organization to identify a Senior Manager of Treasury & Debt Compliance. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of liquidity, debt compliance, accounting, and financial operations.
This individual will work across multiple businesses, partnering closely with senior finance leadership to strengthen cash forecasting, monitor debt compliance, navigate complex credit agreements, and improve financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee liquidity forecasting and cash optimization, including review and analysis of 13-week cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor actual and forecasted financial and operational debt covenants, proactively identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
- Interpret complex credit agreements, including covenant definitions, baskets, structural limitations, and other debt-related provisions.
- Manage and enhance debt compliance processes, reporting calendars, controls, dashboards, and lender reporting.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and legal counsel on credit agreement amendments, waivers, covenant resets, incremental facilities, and maturity extensions.
- Provide guidance during covenant breaches or potential breach situations, helping evaluate options and develop action plans.
- Support lender reporting, financial updates, and performance narratives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to finance leadership on liquidity, debt strategy, compliance, and financial operations.
- Develop standardized tools and best practices around cash forecasting, covenant tracking, debt reporting, and lender communication.
- Provide hands on accounting and financial reporting support when needed, including helping strengthen close processes, controls, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
Ideal Background
- 8+ years of experience across Treasury, Private Equity Operations, Corporate Finance, Debt Compliance, or related areas.
- Strong experience with cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, working capital, and debt compliance.
- Deep understanding of credit agreements and covenant structures.
- Experience navigating distressed or underperforming situations, including covenant breaches or liquidity constraints.
- Strong accounting foundation; public accounting experience and/or CPA preferred.
- Experience with Percentage of Completion accounting and construction WIP is highly desirable.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and businesses in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
