Mueller Water Products, Inc. seeks a Director of Transformation to drive the enterprise MOS portfolio from strategy to measurable execution. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy, you will coordinate across functions, unblock obstacles, and ensure value delivery with disciplined cadence.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, influence across levels, and eventual leadership of a small team as MOS matures. A strong cross-functional and analytical background is essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in operations, transformation, or strategy within industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives to completion and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Lean/continuous improvement experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with formal operating systems (e.g., Danaher Business System) is preferred.
• Experience leading integrations following an acquisition; strong financial and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Drive MOS across functions, creating and implementing plans to embed it as business as usual.
• Work hands-on with initiative teams to unblock issues and maintain pace.
• Track and validate value delivery (revenue, margin, productivity, working capital).
• Surface cross-functional barriers early and drive rapid resolution.
• Hold initiative owners to milestones while maintaining accountability for results.
• Run the CEO/ELT strategy execution review as a decision forum.
• Own the enterprise scorecard tracking value, milestones, and progress.
• Collaborate with M&A to lead integrations and initiative tracking.
• Support development of enterprise strategy and complete ad-hoc strategic projects.
