The Director of Therapy Services role oversees the planning, development, organization, implementation, and oversight of rehabilitation programs (PT, OT, SLP) in our skilled nursing facility. It ensures services meet all laws, regulations, and facility policies, delivering high quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include leading therapy staff, coordinating with nursing and social services, ensuring plan-based therapy delivery, and monitoring documentation for Medicare/PDPM

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.
• Current, valid Oregon license to practice.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with documentation systems, EMRs, and Medicare/PDPM regulations.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position ensures that therapy services are delivered in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies, and that they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Current, valid license to practice in the state of Oregon.
• Certification in CPR (required).
• Experience in skilled nursing orlong-term care settings is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership andorganizational skills.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in documentation systems, EMRs, and Medicare/PDPM regulations.
