Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a seasoned technology risk leader to oversee risk across Brokerage and Trade Management engineering. In a director-level capacity, you will partner with engineering, operations, and risk leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks, including AI adoption, cloud modernization, and secure architectures.

You will influence strategic decisions, report risk metrics to executives and governance bodies, and mentor risk professionals to foster a strong risk

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology risk management within large financial services organizations.
• Leadership experience influencing senior executives and managing cross-functional initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of cloud native architectures, container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, application security and database management.
• Ability to communicate complex technology risk concepts to executive leadership, risk committees, and regulators.
• Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, large language models, data science, automation, and governance risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk oversight across Brokerage and Trade Management engineering.
• Proactively identify and manage technology risks and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Influence strategic decision-making and strengthen Fidelity's risk posture in AI, digital innovation, and Cloud modernization.
• Partner with engineering, operations, Legal, Compliance, ER, and Internal Audit on governance activities.
• Drive risk reporting, metrics, and analytics for executive decision-making and board transparency.
