The Illinois State of Illinois, Department of Early Childhood, seeks a Director of Technology Business Operations to lead IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance across the agency.

Reporting to the DCOO, you will coordinate with DoIT, supervise the tech team, and ensure reliable services for IDEC programs. Hybrid work arrangement in Chicago area with responsibilities across procurement and contract oversight.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of four years of college.
• Experience in contract management or procurement is preferred.
• Public sector or human services background encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Plan and oversee IT governance, ensuring audit and cybersecurity compliance.
• Cooperate with agency leadership and COO to deliver reliable technology services.
• Act as Agency Technology Services Requestor with DoIT, coordinating tool creation and maintenance.
• Supervise IDEC technology teams and ensure effective support for programs for families with young children.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
