Job summary

Irvine TechNology Corporation is seeking a hands-on Director of Technology to own a growing, cloud-first IT environment. You will lead a small team, manage a broad range of systems, and report directly to the COO on technology direction and investments.

You’ll administer Azure, Active Directory, CRM, LMS, VOIP, and security systems, oversee on-site infrastructure, and partner with stakeholders to ensure reliable IT operations as the organization grows, with occasional travel to San Gabriel

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering a cloud-based environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure and Active Directory.
• General familiarity with servers, firewalls, and core IT infrastructure.
• Well-rounded background across phone systems, security, and day-to-day IT operations.
• Comfortable contributing both hands-on and at a strategic level.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage a predominantly Azure-based cloud environment, including CRM and student information systems.
• Oversee Active Directory, a VOIP phone system, and organization-wide print and copier infrastructure.
• Manage centralized physical security systems, including alarms and cameras.
• Support a learning management system and other smaller technology platforms.
• Partner with the COO and a team of 4 to keep IT operations running smoothly across a growing organization.

Our client is looking for a hands-on IT leader to take ownership of a growing, largely cloud-based technology environment. This is a role for someone who genuinely likes being in the mix day to day, not just directing from a distance. You’ll oversee a small team, manage a wide range of systems, and have a direct line to the COO on where technology is headed next.
