This role is crucial for ensuring that educational technology is effectively integrated into teaching and learning, administrative processes are streamlined, and technology resources are optimized for the benefit of students, teachers, staff, and the overall Hebron Community.

• Collaborate with educators to integrate technology effectively into curriculum and instruction, supporting innovative and engaging teaching methods that enhance student learning outcomes.
• Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance and expansion of the Hebron's technology infrastructure, including network systems, servers, hardware, software, and security protocols.
• Educational Software and Tools:
  • Evaluate, select, and manage educational software, applications, and digital resources that align with curriculum goals and provide valuable learning experiences for students.
• Professional Development:
  • Plan and facilitatetechnology-related professional development opportunities for teachers and staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively use technology in the classroom.
• Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students, addressing issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring that technology resources are operational and accessible.
• Data Management:
  • Oversee data systems and databases, ensuring accurate and secure management of student records, assessment data, and other relevant information.
• Budget and Procurement:
  • Manage the technology budget, including purchasing and upgrading hardware and software, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Maintaining a multi-year budgeting scenario for all future technology.
• Cybersecurity:
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information, including student data, staff records, and other confidential information.
• Promote responsible and ethical use of technology among students and staff, educating them about online safety, digital citizenship, and appropriate behavior in the digital age.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Contribute to the district's technology strategy by participating in long-term planning, setting goals, and aligning technology initiatives with the Hebron's educational objectives.
• Emerging Technologies:
  • Stay informed about new and emerging technologies and trends in educational technology, exploring opportunities to leverage these technologies for enhanced learning experiences.
• Communication & Training:
  • Communicate technology updates, initiatives, and best practices to district stakeholders, and provide training to ensure effective adoption of new technologies.
• Policy Development:
  • Contribute to the development of technology-related policies, procedures, and guidelines that ensure responsible and effective technology use with Hebron.
• Evaluation and Assessment:
  • Assessthe effectiveness of technology initiatives, gather feedback from stakeholders, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
