Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management for Card Tech in New York, NY. You will lead complex technical programs, shape TPM discipline, and drive platform convergence across Spend Innovation, Loyalty, Travel Tech and Card Premium Experiences.

You’ll mentor teams, define roadmaps, ensure regulatory and architectural alignment, and communicate with senior leadership on tradeoffs between speed, cost and resilience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.
Experience with distributed computing or SOA.
Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS).
Experience delivering large, complex programs with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Contribute to TPM / Delivery strategy across portfolios.
Develop and align program roadmaps with business objectives.
Lead cross-platform investment planning and architectural alignment.
Act as executive escalation point for program risks.
Define measurable outcomes for platform success and ensure delivery accountability.
