Job summary

Cardiosense is seeking a Head of Technical Operations and Clinical Engineering to lead deployment, integration, and support for customers using non-invasive sensors and clinical data platforms.

You will coordinate with hospital IT, biomed, and clinical teams, define onboarding and data flow workflows, and drive operational improvements across hardware, software, and clinical processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in medical devices, digital health, clinical engineering, or related technical environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical deployments, implementations, or integrations within hospitals or health systems.
• Experience working directly with hospital stakeholders including clinicians, clinical engineering/biomed, IT, information security, and research teams.
• Strong analytical skills with metrics, dashboards, reporting, or other data driven tools used to monitor performance and support business decisions.
• Working knowledge across hardware, software, and clinical workflows, with ability to communicate with specialized teams in each area.
• Experience developing and implementing new operational processes, particularly where processes are being built.
• Demonstrated ability to independently scope problems, identify solutions, and drive workstreams to completion.

Responsibilities

• Deployment and Customer Integration: Own end-to-end deployment for new customers, from scoping to go-live and steady-state support.
• Serve as primary contact to hospital IT, biomed/clinical engineering, and information security teams.
• Define onboarding procedures including device provisioning, fleet management, workflow mapping, and staff training.
• Manage integration workstreams with hospital systems and third-party data platforms, coordinating with engineering on interfaces and data flow.
• Build the field support model, including tiering, SLAs, and feedback to R&D.
