Job summary

TECHEAD is seeking an experienced Director of Technical Operations to lead the support, operations, and strategic management of conference and audiovisual services across global offices. This on-site role requires delivering seamless conference technology solutions and managing AV infrastructure.

You will supervise a team, coordinate with stakeholders for meetings and events, and ensure high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related AV or unified communications experience from a multi-location environment.
• At least 3 years of people management or supervisory experience of a team of 3+.
• Strong expertise with video conferencing and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Poly, and Crestron.
• Knowledge of AV systems, VoIP technologies, IP networking, and unified communications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and support activities for the Project Management, Engineering and Installation teams.
• Develop, implement, and maintain conference technology policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee conference room technology, audiovisual systems, video conferencing platforms, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of meetings, events, and conference services.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of technology-related concerns.
• Manage conference technology inventory, maintenance schedules, and equipment lifecycle planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a customer-focused service environment.
