The role oversees Peterson University and a regional training center, with emphasis on advancing technician training and collaboration with CAT dealer networks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field and 7+ years managing a technical training program, plus strong instructional design and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years managing a technical training program.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience designing and accrediting adult education programs.
• Masters in Adult Education preferred; unionized work experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design and performance consulting processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to Peterson University for training and development.
• Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with priorities.
• Oversee regional training center operations compliant with RDLC standards.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract Technical Trainers.
• Direct and accelerate trainer development in support of growth initiatives.
• Manage technician training pathways and non-RDLC training center projects.
• Lead design and improvement of non-technical training and continuing education.
• Monitor learning needs, skill gaps, and translate requirements into curricula.
