Job summary

On Location is seeking a Director of Technical Accounting & Compliance to strengthen Controllership across Core businesses, including NFL, NCAA, PGA of America, UFC, and WWE programs. You will translate US GAAP into scalable processes, write technical memoranda, and lead governance for significant judgments and contract analyses.

The role partners with Legal, Finance, Tax, Revenue Operations, and Internal Audit to ensure timely guidance on contracts and close judgments, while driving consistent

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on technical accounting, public-company reporting, audit, or controllership.
• CPA required; Big Four or national public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong command of US GAAP, esp. ASC 606, with ability to document and defend complex accounting conclusions.
• Experience supporting SEC reporting, internal controls, SOX compliance, and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting analysis for complex contracts, new products, and non-routine transactions with focus on revenue recognition and balance sheet classifications.
• Develop, maintain, and operationalize accounting policies, procedures, and governance for the Core Controllership.
• Support quarterly and annual external audits, including technical consultations and disclosure support.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Tax, and business leaders to identify accounting implications early in the contract lifecycle.
