Job summary

Foster McKay is seeking a Senior Director, Accounting – TV Networks to lead the controllership across the Sports and Entertainment Networks portfolio, ensuring accurate U.S. GAAP reporting, internal controls, and SOX compliance for multiple revenue streams and expenses.

Reporting to the Controller, TV Networks, the candidate will drive close processes, balance sheet reviews, and external reporting, while partnering with Finance, Legal and Technology to support ERP and finance transformation for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA required.
12+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, including leadership within a large organization.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC/public company reporting, internal controls, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead the controllership function for the Sports and Entertainment Networks, including accounting oversight for multiple revenue streams and operating expenses.
Oversee all accounting activities to ensure transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported per GAAP and SOX requirements.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate financial statements and reconciliations.
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other estimates to ensure GL accuracy.
Lead balance sheet reviews, identify risks and ensure external reporting support schedules are complete.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of recurring and ad hoc management reporting for executive leadership.
