Nassau Financial Group, based in Hartford, CT, seeks an experienced tax professional to support strategic initiatives from a tax perspective and assist with recurring tax compliance. You will collaborate with Legal and other stakeholders on strategic transactions and provide tax analysis and support.

Role requires strong research and documentation skills, with deep experience in tax issues, cross-border matters, and risk management. Extended hours may be required during financial close cycles.

Qualificações

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; JD or Masters in Taxation preferred.
• CPA and/or advanced taxation credentials are preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting/tax experience, with mid-level tax role in insurance.
• Strong research, written communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support strategic tax initiatives and recurring tax compliance.
• Collaborate with Legal and other stakeholders on strategic transactions.
• Perform independent tax research and document conclusions.
• Monitor tax developments and advise on tax risk management.
• Assist with product tax matters and tax audits/appeals.
