Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Director of Talent Development who will design, plan, and implement enterprise-wide talent development and HR capability-building programs to strengthen workforce capability and engagement.

The role partners with HR and business leaders to identify skill gaps, ensure regulatory compliance, and align development strategies with organizational priorities while designing performance management solutions and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years managing HR functions.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare HR preferred.
• Proven leadership of teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee strategic planning and operational management for own area, including budget and resources.
• Develop organization-wide HR program goals, policies and procedures.
• Lead multiple large projects from end to end for own area, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Be a trusted advisor in HR practices with business leaders on investigations.
• Promote utilization of HR offerings and facilitate programs within own area.
• Engage with stakeholders to influence decision-making.
