Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead operations for the OR, Pre-Op, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, and SPD.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams while driving accountability and engagement.
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
• Oversee staffing, productivity, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key metrics including OR utilization, first-case on-time starts, throughput, and patient experience.

Salary Range: $94,473.60 – $155,292.80 annually

The Director of Surgical Services provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, and Sterile Processing (SPD). This hands-on leader partners with physicians and executive leadership to drive quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, financial performance, and employee engagement across perioperative services.

As a visible, hands-on leader, the Director partners with physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize surgical services, develop high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement.
