Qualifications

Position: Director of Surgical Services

Location: Redbank, NJ

Duration: Full-time

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee and enhance perioperative services. The Director of Perioperative Services will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, operational oversight, and quality assurance across surgical and procedural care areas. These areas include the Operating Room (OR), Same-Day Surgery (SDS), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Endoscopy, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), and Sterile Processing. The position plays a critical role in ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards while promoting collaboration across departments and with the medical staff.

Experience

• At least five years of progressively responsible management experience in perioperative services.
• A minimum of two years of progressive experience in healthcare administration with increasing administrative responsibilities.
• RN experience in scrubbing/circulating is preferred.
• Must live within a 30-minute radius for on-call availability.
• Proven expertise in staffing, budgeting, and financial management.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field are both required.

Licensure & Certification: An active RN license is required. CNOR certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire
