Job summary

SiPhox Health is seeking a Director of Surface, Reagent & Conjugation Chemistry to own the chemistry and reagent platform underlying our silicon photonics diagnostic system. This leader will be accountable for surface functionalization, protein and antibody conjugation, formulation, critical reagents, microprinting chemistry, stabilization, and controlled reagent manufacturing.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with substantial industry leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in surface functionalization, protein immobilization, antibody conjugation, immunoassay reagents, formulation, stabilization, microprinting, lyophilization, or biosensor chemistry.
• Experience transferring complex biochemical or surface-chemistry processes to controlled manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead strategically while remaining hands-on in lab/manufacturing when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the chemistry and reagent platform across development, verification, validation, regulatory submission, launch, and scale.
• Translate methods into documented, controlled, scalable manufacturing processes with defined inputs, outputs, specs, and controls.
• Lead surface functionalization and reagent manufacturing to ensure assay performance and lot consistency.
• Establish quality, regulatory, and change-control strategies in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage chemistry and manufacturing staff and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
