Job summary

nVent is seeking a senior supply chain leader to craft and implement a comprehensive strategy for a high-growth business. You will guide SIOP, demand and production planning, and performance reporting to executives, while building a strong, global team of supply chain professionals.

Success requires a strategic and hands-on approach, deep manufacturing experience, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across functions. Willingness to travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Materials or Business Management.
• 15+ years leading teams in manufacturing supply chain.
• Experience with supply chain management implementation.
• ASCM certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel (<25%).

In this senior leadership role, you will lead developing the supply chain strategy and its successful implementation for a high growth business. The leader should be both strategic and tactical in leading this function for the long-term growth.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process: Ensuring alignment across demand, supply, finance, and commercial teams to support strategic decision‑making and optimize business performance.
• Demand Planning: Gather and analyze data to support accurate demand forecasting. Drive customer satisfaction through improved service levels. Reduce inventory costs by aligning forecasts with actual demand. Enhance decision‑making through data‑driven insights.
• Supply Planning: Execute material requirements planning and production scheduling. Manage inventory to balance availability and cost efficiency. Optimize resource utilization and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Performance Reporting: Develop and present key performance indicators KPIs) related to demand and supply planning. Prepare and deliver reports to senior executives, highlighting KPIs, trends and actionable recommendations.
• Team & People Management: You will work in a professional, highly motivated, and passionate team of integrated supply chain professionals serving our customers around the globe. You will lead, mentor and develop a team of Demand Forecasting, Production Planning and Materials professionals and build strong teams that thrive in collaboration, teamwork and continuous improvement.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Materials, Business Management.
• 15+ years experience leading teams with experience in production planning and materials management in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Experience with supply chain management implementation.
• ASCM certification, preferred.
• Willingness to travel (<25%).
