Job description

Director of Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations

Tempe, United States

We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations to own how materials, equipment, and tools move from vendor to job site. You will lead purchasing, vendor pricing, takeoff review, inventory, our Tempe warehouse, and deliveries to crews across Arizona. Pay is $135,000 to $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

You will lead the Warehouse Operations Manager and the warehouse team, set the systems they run on, and be accountable for material cost, availability, and accuracy on every project. You will work daily with Project Managers, the Director of Projects, and Accounting so crews have what they need the day they need it and the company pays the right price for it.

  • Build and maintain the approved vendor list, pricing agreements, and vendor credit accounts.

  • Issue and track purchase orders in Procore; reconcile receipts and invoices with Accounting.
  • Lead the Warehouse Operations Manager and warehouse team; set standards for receiving, inventory, pull lists, load-outs, and tool tracking.
  • Own inventory accuracy and run quarterly counts reconciled to the books.
  • Plan and dispatch deliveries to Arizona job sites to match crew schedules.
  • Track material cost against estimate by project and report savings and variances monthly.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot every day to check takeoffs, compare bids, draft POs, and automate reporting.

  • 7+ years in procurement, supply chain, or warehouse and logistics management, including 3+ years leading people.
  • Electrical, solar, or commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
