Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain Accounting to lead global GL and cost accounting, drive month-end closes, and optimize cost structures across our international operations. You will oversee standard cost processes in D365, align BOMs/routings with production, and partner with engineering and finance to deliver accurate reporting and controls.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting with 5+ years of leadership, CPA/CMA preferred, and strong ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong ERP understanding (D365).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and cost accounting for global integration centers.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate calculation and monitoring of standard and actual costs in D365, including rolling standard costs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to maintain BOMs and routings and support new product introductions.
• Standardize general ledger and cost accounting procedures across the network.
• Identify opportunities for margin improvement via cost optimization and process improvements.
• Partner with technical accounting and finance teams to address complex accounting matters and ensure accurate reporting.
• Support development and improvement of accounting processes, reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and financial governance requirements.
• Coordinate annual external audits and serve as primary contact for auditors.
• Lead and guide the supply chain accounting team (4 direct reports).
• Advise finance and manufacturing leadership on cost, efficiency, and inventory optimization.

What You'll Do

• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and financial governance requirements
• Coordinate annual external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors
• Lead and guide the supply chain accounting team, consisting of 4 direct reports
• Serve as a strategic advisor to finance and manufacturing leadership on cost, manufacturing efficiency, and inventory optimization

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
• 10+ years of experience of progressive accounting experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams
• Strong understanding of ERPs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to successfully implement process improvements and digital tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
