Job summary

Gresham Barlow School District seeks a Student Support Services Program Director (1.0 FTE) to implement and support Special Education programs and 504 Plan compliance in the district. The role reports to the Director of Student Support Services and collaborates with other program directors.

The position begins October 2026 with a 235-day contract and a salary range of $123,628–$139,145 plus benefits. This is not in a bargaining unit and reports to the Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Holds an Oregon Administrative license or has the potential of earning one by start date.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of Regular and Special Education Law.
• Strong leadership and program development skills.
• Effective communication, conflict resolution and mediation abilities.
• Ability to train staff and collaborate with district and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program development and operations for assigned programs.
• Attend special services team meetings as needed.
• Locate resources for staff and students beyond school provisions.
• Observe students and recommend interventions.
• Coordinate with principals on program area development and support.
• Provide staff training in assigned programs.
• Communicate with agencies and individuals on behalf of programs.
• Budget planning for assigned programs.
• Develop and coordinate staff development opportunities.
• Assist in district and MESD collaborations for assigned areas.
