Job summary

University System of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH seeks a Director of Student Affairs to lead the Office of Student and Community Engagement (OSCE). You will supervise professional staff, advance student engagement and wellbeing, and manage housing partnerships with Southern New Hampshire University.

You will serve as Conduct Officer, coordinate crisis response, and build cross-campus/community collaborations to support student success and belonging in a diverse urban environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• 5+ years in student affairs or related fields.
• Experience with crisis response, case management, student conduct, program development and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Office of Student and Community Engagement professional staff and peer leaders.
• Provide strategic leadership for student engagement initiatives and orientation programs.
• Develop and assess strategic initiatives to advance engagement, belonging, persistence, and wellbeing.
• Oversee housing partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, including contract administration.
• Serve as Conduct Officer for UNH Manchester and coordinate campus partner services.
• Lead student care, crisis intervention, and case management with documentation and privacy compliance.
• Coordinate partnerships addressing student basic needs with community partners.
