Job summary

New Beginnings High School (NBHS) seeks a Director of Retention and Engagement to lead enrollment growth, family retention, and student engagement initiatives. You will own the inquiry-to-enrollment pipeline, coordinate timely outreach, and report on retention metrics in collaboration with campus leadership.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and several years of experience in enrollment, family engagement, and program management, with proven leadership and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required or strongly preferred.
• Six years of progressive experience in enrollment, family engagement, or student services.
• Three years of supervisory or strategic growth experience requested.
• Experience with enrollment, outreach, and retention metrics is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrollment growth, family retention, and engagement initiatives with campus leadership.
• Own the inquiry-to-enrollment pipeline and manage conversion tracking.
• Coordinate timely outreach and documented follow-up with families.
• Track enrollment indicators and retention risks; report trends weekly.
• Partner with administrators to identify at-risk students and coordinate interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliant, nondiscriminatory practices.
