Qualifications

• Experience managing students and organizing student events; advising student organizations; implementing service and leadership initiatives; working with diverse populations in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vision, operation, and assessment of student engagement programs and services.
• Support departmental and institutional missions and advance the University’s strategic plan.
• Contribute to holistic development of students through programs, events, leadership opportunities, and student organizations.
• Provide oversight and advising for clubs/organizations and campus activities boards (e.g., SAB).
• Plan, execute, and assess orientation and leadership programs for incoming students; coordinate signature events like Welcome Week and Spirit Week.
• Initiate and evaluate student events and ongoing engagement initiatives.
• Manage operations for student spaces and common areas.
• Design surveys and focus groups to measure impact on retention and graduation.
• Oversee division’s social media, event calendars, and campus newsletters to boost participation.
