Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Director in Irving, Texas to lead regional category management, drive value creation and champion strategic supplier partnerships in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT and Finance to develop category roadmaps, execute strategic sourcing, manage risk, and deliver EBITDA improvements and sustainable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Significant experience leading strategic sourcing and category management programs in a complex organization.
• Proven success delivering measurable business value through procurement and negotiations.
• Proven leadership in managing teams and leading through change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Deep understanding of category management, supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Strong financial acumen with EBITDA and total cost optimization experience.
• Proficient in using data, spend analytics and performance reporting for strategic decisions.
• Experience with procurement technology and digital procurement solutions.
• Interest in leveraging automation and AI to improve procurement effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing regional category management team.
• Support development and execution of regional procurement strategy.
• Develop and execute category strategies delivering value through sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to improve EBITDA, productivity, and working capital.
• Build strategic supplier relationships for innovation and resilience.
• Use market intelligence and analytics to shape category strategies.
• Champion adoption of digital procurement tools and AI capabilities.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations balancing cost, quality, risk.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance and Legal to embed procurement in strategic projects.
• Develop category roadmaps anticipating market trends and business needs.
• Lead supplier risk management across key categories and improve continuity.
• Establish reporting on savings, EBITDA, productivity and risk outcomes, including ESG.
