Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Director of Strategic Change Leadership to drive adoption of large-scale initiatives across CMG functions. You will shape change strategies, align leadership, and build capabilities to sustain performance.

The role requires 10+ years in organizational development or transformation, a Bachelor's degree, and ideally a Master’s in Change Management, with proven ability to coach senior leaders and manage stakeholder networks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational development, strategic initiative execution, transformation programs, or business operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in organizational change management with cross-functional initiative leadership.
• Proven track record of sustained organizational impact in complex environments.
• Certified Coach or systemic/team coaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to guide transformational and incremental change across CMG functions.
• Lead the activation of CMG-wide strategic initiatives with senior leadership support.
• Coach senior and people leaders to strengthen change capabilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across CMG teams.
• Monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives and report business impact.
