Job summary

Tarsus Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Alliance Management to build the Alliance Management function in Irvine, driving governance, strategy, and execution across partnerships. You will lead due diligence, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful integration of assets or collaborations.

The role requires extensive pharma alliance experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to align internal and partner teams to achieve milestones and maximize value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in appropriate specialty (science or business).
• MBA or PhD preferred but not required.
• Minimum 15+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 7 years in global alliance and project management.

Responsibilities

• Build internal Alliance Management processes and tools to ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
• Lead and manage development and commercialization collaborations to achieve alliance goals.
• Develop a deep understanding of contractual elements and oversee obligations for alliances.
• Prepare agendas, lead partner meetings, and document key decisions.
• Oversee due diligence and integration planning with cross-functional teams.
