AbbVie Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Statistics to provide statistical leadership for clinical development and lifecycle management across projects.

This role partners with multiple disciplines to advance therapies to patients, ensuring robust statistical design and analysis. Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD with extensive clinical trial or development experience, and possess strong communication skills to explain complex results to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Formación

• MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field with substantial experience.
• Demonstrated depth in statistical methodology and practical applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Proven ability to lead across competing priorities and manage timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide statistical leadership for one or more development projects and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and implement statistical analysis plans and study designs.
• Partner with Clinical, Regulatory, and Safety teams to align development strategies.
• Mentor staff and supervise junior statisticians as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in reports, tables, listings, and figures.
• Collaborate on data presentation strategies and publications with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with CROs and external partners to advance projects and maintain quality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs in all analyses.
