The Bald Eagle Area School District in Wingate, PA seeks a motivated leader for the role of Director of Special Education & Student Services. The director directs the district's Special Education program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and coordinating with school physicians, counselors, nurses, and MTTS staff.
The position requires a Master's degree, appropriate administrative credentials, and experience supervising special education staff.

We are in search of a motivated applicant to join the BEA family for the following position:
The Director of Special Education & Student Services directs the Special Education program of the District. The Director ensures program integration with the other instructional departments and the State. The Director ensures compliance with Special Education Regulations - State and Federal. The Director of Special Education & Student Services directs the work of special education teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, and the MTTS Coordinator. The Director of Special Education and Student Services, in consultation with building administrators, coordinates the work of student support personnel including school nurses, school counselors, etc.
Masters degree from an accredited college or university, with at least 2-3 years Administrative experience. Special Education Supervisory certificate and Principal certificate or 5 years experience in Special Education.
12 month, 7.5 hours, 7:30 - 4:00
Benefits as provided under the Act 93 Agreement
Same as Professional Staff
