Gabriella White is seeking a strategic Director of Software Product to lead Syspro ERP and PIM efforts, aligning manufacturing, supply chain, and ecommerce with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• Seven+ years supporting enterprise applications with ERP exposure.
• Four+ years hands-on Syspro ERP experience incl. config and data mgmt.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics processes.
• Experience designing integrations via APIs and middleware.
• Advanced SQL Server experience and reporting skills.
• PM/Agile experience and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and workflow improvements across Syspro, ERP, and cross-functional systems.
• Translate business needs into functional specs, data models, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with developers through design, dev, test, and deployment for scalable solutions.
• Design and oversee Syspro-PIM-ecommerce integrations via APIs/EDI/middleware.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy and build business cases for investments.
• Own Syspro inventory, master data, BOMs, costing, and warehousing.
• Oversee PIM data modeling, enrichment, and syndication across channels.

What You Do

• Lead initiatives that automate and enhance workflows within Syspro, new business applications, and cross-functional systems.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, technical specifications, data models, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with software developers throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and support to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Design and oversee integrations between Syspro, PIM, ecommerce, CRM, warehouse management systems, and third-party applications using APIs, EDI, and middleware technologies.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities and develop business cases supporting investment decisions.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Syspro, including inventory and product master data, bills of material, routings, costing, pricing, work orders, purchasing, sales orders, and warehousing.
• Configure and extend Syspro through security administration, custom forms, workflows, VBScripts, business objects, and reporting tools.
• Own and manage the Product Information Management (PIM) platform, including data modeling, product attribution, workflow design, enrichment, and syndication across sales channels.
• Administer Datascope and warehouse management processes supporting mobile data collection, barcode scanning, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory transactions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Troubleshoot application performance, integration issues, and data integrity concerns.
• Lead ERP upgrades, patch management, regression testing, escalated support, and root cause analysis efforts.
• Establish and maintain product and master data standards that promote consistency, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Support new product introductions and seasonal launches by overseeing data setup, validation, and governance processes.
• Manage technology projects through implementation and go-live while ensuring stakeholder alignment and adoption.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team consisting of a Syspro Analyst, PIM Administrator/Developer, and Data Analyst.
• Establish team priorities, support performance management activities, and ensure critical system knowledge is documented and shared across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Development, Ecommerce, Finance, Customer Care, and Operations leadership teams to support organizational objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency, data accuracy, system reliability, and business scalability.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required.
• Seven or more years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.
• Four or more years of deep hands-on Syspro ERP experience, including configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and data management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, inventory control, product lifecycle management, and logistics processes.
• Experience designing and supporting integrations using APIs, EDI, middleware platforms, and related technologies.
• Advanced SQL Server experience including query development, performance tuning, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Experience implementing business applications and process automation initiatives from concept through deployment.
• Proven ability to manage technical teams, develop talent, and lead organizational change.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with frontline associates, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within Agile or similar software development methodologies preferred.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master strongly preferred.
• Furniture industry, custom manufacturing, or made-to-order business experience preferred.
• Experience leading a Syspro implementation, significant ERP upgrade, or PIM implementation preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-channel business environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Power BI, Shopify, or related analytics and ecommerce platforms preferred.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
