Lilly IT in Indianapolis is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead one or more domains within our Commercial or Clinical portfolio. You will set multi-year technical direction, drive modern web and cloud solutions, and partner with user-experience, product, business, medical, and regulatory teams to deliver patient-focused software.

You will define engineering standards, manage headcount and budgeting, own platform investments, and ensure operational health, security, and data privacy.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years in software engineering roles.
• 5+ years as a software engineering manager.
• Experience owning technical strategy and delivery roadmaps across domains.
• Experience with web and cloud technologies.

• Lead engineering teams across one or more domains within commercial or clinical portfolios.
• Define multi-year technical direction and translate portfolio strategy into a funded roadmap.
• Set engineering standards, investments, and ways of working beyond your own team.

• Ensure operational health including service levels, security posture, and data privacy compliance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and partner with product, design, and business leadership.
