• Drive execution across engineering initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Leadership teams to prioritize work and deliver business impact.
• Oversee technical architecture and guide decisions around scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, development processes, and operational standards.
• Build and scale engineering teams through hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Manage resource planning, team capacity, budgets, and organizational growth.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through metrics, feedback, and process optimization.
• Ensure teams maintain high standards for system reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Communicate engineering priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.
• Support cross-functional planning and drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with leadership experience managing engineering teams and technical projects.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
• Experience working in a startup, growth-stage, or rapidly evolving environment preferred.
• Technical background that enables effective participation in architecture, product, and engineering discussions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
