Job summary

The Highlands Living Center in Pittsford, NY seeks a Director of Social Work to lead our Social Work services and advocate for residents and families.

This role oversees admissions, care transitions, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care while complying with federal and NY regulations.

MSW required; 2-3 years in long-term care and supervisory experience preferred; compensation range is $65,560–$90,480 annually.

Qualifications

• MSW required; Licensed Master’s in Social Work preferred, and 2-3 years’ experience in long-term care setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of resident rights, discharge planning, and regulatory requirements.
• A compassionate, approachable leadership style and commitment to resident-centered care.

What You'll Do
