Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Director of Social Services to lead policy development for the Social Services Department and ensure compassionate support for residents. You will maintain precise documentation, participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, and educate on Advanced Directives for residents and families.

The role emphasizes independent work within a team, with responsibilities including admissions/discharges and other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Qualifications

• Directs and plans overall policies/goals for the Social Services Dept.
• Maintains accurate, thorough, and timely documentation.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care plan meetings to address residents' social/emotional needs.
• Experience in managing staff is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or within a team; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs, establishes & plans the Social Services Dept policies/goals.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care plan meetings to ensure holistic resident care.
• Provide education on Advanced Directives to residents and families.
• Assist with smooth admissions and discharges for residents and families.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.
