Job summary

RegalCare at Harwich is seeking a Director of Social Services to lead the facility’s psychosocial care and improve resident quality of life. The role involves coordinating all social services, discharging planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance with federal and state requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Social Work (MSW preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in long-term care, with strong communication and organizational skills to guide the social work team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required; MSW preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with MDS 3.0 and the care planning process.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding social services in nursing facilities.
